THE COFFEE COACH became one of the biggest project the Drugstore ZEN currently handles. Combining every aspect of the company's talented base of contacts, THE COFFEE COACH fast became the flagship project of 2003 to test the philosophy behind our business plan.

Ghost Writing
Graphic Design
Web Page Design
Marketing and Promotion

The project started as a complete Ghost Write using David's three previous books as the source reference material. After several revisions, updates and fact checks, Drugstore ZEN sought out and arranged printing and binding services that matched the budget requests of the client.

Drugstore ZEN Press has further taken over the lead role in the Marketing campaign for this book. Registration with ISBN and UPC allowed The Coffee Coach to be registered and rated with Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. Registration has also been performed with Google.com, Alta Vista, Yahoo, SCAA and NASCORE.

The Graphic Design of the cover art was chosen after extensive research into "feel fine" and "sincere" feel colors and balance. The colors used were chosen due to their appeal to the target demographic of women 35-55. The web site design was further based upon the colors of the cover and the graphical feel of the internal manuscript.

Bad Ass Franchise Manual

Once again working in the field of coffee, the chance to work for this Utah and Hawaii based company seemed like a great opportunity.

Bad Ass Coffee contacted us through our network inside the international coffee industry.

We were approached by Connie Alexakos and, after an interview, contracted to edit, revise and rewrite the manual that Bad Ass uses to train their new franchise owners all over the world.

Bad Ass Coffee was concerned, as they grew past the 30-franchisee mark, that the level of organization and presentation for their training products needed to be improved.

Drugstore ZEN took possession of the previous materials and organized them from over one hundred different "hard copy" and original documents. The files were placed into one concise digital document form and a conversion into a Press Ready PDF.

Drugstore ZEN even went the extra mile by subjecting its CEO to the one week training regiment normally held for new franchise owners.

It is easy to say that Mrs. Alexakos was very pleased by not only the speed but the quality of our work.
